On a different board someone actually called the Democrats a centrist party. I think this is completely and utterly ludicrous. At the very least they are a center-left party especially in recent years with Obama, Pelosi, and Reid.

Think about the fact that even many liberal European nations don't have gay marriage, and the ones that do don't allow gay adoptions. For example liberal France and liberal Germany don't allow gay adoptions. But liberal Democrats here consider gay marriage a "civil right" and compare their movement to the actual civil rights movement of the 1960s. The US also has extremely liberal abortion laws compared to most of Europe, including compared to the UK, France, Germany, and Italy.

Democrats openly and passionately support illegal immigration, while illegal immigration is not tolerated in liberal Europe. No European country gives in-state college tuition to illegal aliens, or is discussing giving amnesty to illegals. Countries like Spain, Italy, and Germany are VERY strict in guarding their borders and don't tolerate illegal aliens entering their land. The only area where Europe was more liberal than America was them having socialist medicine. Now we have socialist medicine in the US too. The US also already has the highest corporate taxes in the world, much higher than liberal Britain, liberal France, and liberal Germany and Democrats want to tax companies even more.

Default America soon to become more liberal than Europe

I only can hope so. I would love America to become more like Switzerland, Germany, Sweden, Denmark, Finland and Norway. More employees rights, basic healthcare coverage for everybody, 6 weeks vacation and a much better and efficient Infrastructure.

Forward!!!!

The same-sex related information you are presenting is incorrect.

But folks it is important to understand that this is how the antisocial perspectives of the right-wing get supporters - by duping weak-minded sycophants into believing corrupt claptrap. The right-wing exists, today, to a great extent on the basis of such deception in the support of patently antisocial, egoistic avarice.

So how liberal is Europe? They are not as tolerant of illegal immigration, and their abortion laws are not as liberal as what the Democrats here propose. ALso not every European country has gay marriage and the ones that do often don't allow gay adoptions.

THeir corporate taxes are also lower than ours. Remember that the US has the highest corporate tax rate in the entire world. ANd we wonder why our economy is not competitive vs other nations.

Socially & culturally, the USA is the globes capital of decadence. It is already the most liberal state on the globe. Constantly trying to push Western culture farther West

Beyond your believe. I encourage you to travel. Democrats compared to most European politicians sounds like right-wing Nazis.

Somewhat true, yet gay marriages have been the reality in most EU countries for quite some time.

Yet no corporation ever pays that tax rate due to loopholes and tax breaks. Your info is misleading.

Yes. Keep on wondering, but its not because of high corporate taxes for sure.

Hmm-that is not what the right wingers claim. They think Europe has been way too easy on illegal immigrants compared to the US.

"For the last twenty years, European Union members regularly snarled at the United States' policies against illegal aliens as a selfish violation of human rights."
