If you honestly believe that you are very naive. There are so many large businesses that exist and thrive today purely on forcing their customers to pay. Either through taxpayer subsidy, government contract, or penalty of law. Then there are other businesses that are able to smother competition through regulation, or use to the law to force people to pay them for something that previously was available for free.
We would have a Tyrannical Government Regime and would all be living in an oppressive Communist Country. Same story that happens to ALL countries that "redistribute" wealth. I put "redistribute" in quotes because all that wealth would go to the Government and nobody else.
Your right that is why I wonder why you are so against helping others. You should know that even if you got a good upbringing, a good education, a good job you can still have it taken from you through no fault of your own.
Yes, we all know oppressive is Canadian government. Pure tyranny lmao

Don't bet, it's bad habit and can cost you money, I just spent gazzilion on software licenses and this is not the end of this month expenses.
Anyways, some conservatives here advocated less regulations and it always made me laugh as the don't realize why do we have these regulations in the first place. Law unfortunately is always behind life.

I would bet I buy more in a month than you do in a year..(my pipe bill this month is $24,000).
Some regulations are written by two or, three different agencies....almost the same...but not totally.
Some are good....some just silly....and some harmful...so a generation is impossible.
There does need to be some regulations to protect consumers.....I would never dream of saying some are not needed.
