There is a double standard here. Where a young girl might be affected for life, if most 15-18 year old guys had a chance to bang their teacher they would be doing high fives with all their buddies over it. A lot of us guys had a Mrs. Robinson in our youth and I don't know anyone who was screwed up by it, in fact, we learned quite a bit and had many fond memories from it.

As a side note - are Teachers truly in a position of authority? They are not the students' bosses they are educators. Educator does not imply authority.
Teachers are completely in a position of authority. Students will parrot out anything the teachers, critical thinking is not the most notable skill of a minor.

What if the student only did it for the "grade" if the student still fails, would this cause trauma? Or if the student passes will this show the student to get things in life just have sex with those who can advance you?
