When I see these guys on TV who were seduced by their teacher and their parents are screaming for justice I have to say PULEEZE !!!!!!!!!

The 17 year old boy will have no scars for life. Will it be an akward socia issue for him to deal with at school among his peers? maybe. Should the teacher be fired? probably.

As a side note - are Teachers truly in a position of authority? They are not the students' bosses they are educators. Educator does not imply authority.
Teachers are completely in a position of authority. Students will parrot out anything the teachers, critical thinking is not the most notable skill of a minor.

So an consenting 17 year old girl should be able to have sex with a teacher?

I don't think a male OR female will be traumatized at 17.

Should they be fired?- Yes,
Should they be imprisioned for a sex offense? I think that is over the top.
Any adult having sex with a minor is a pedophile and a sex offender. An adult in a position of power having sex with a minor is a rapist and pedophile.

Either way, they are sex offenders.

and the high fives USUALLY end up getting the teacher in trouble...

what's the point of having sex as a teenage male if you can't tell your friends?

if it was my sign I would want justice as well because humping isn't a class.

Yes I understand that is the word of the law.

I do not agree it is applicaple is every situation.

And I never saw my teachers as having power over me.

What if the student only did it for the "grade" if the student still fails, would this cause trauma? Or if the student passes will this show the student to get things in life just have sex with those who can advance you?

Sometimes it's the wrong "life experiences" that can actually mess one up down the road.
