Children should be seen and not heard. No one cares what some brat has to say about anything. They get no opinion until they turn 18 and can vote.

I guess you wont like Romney now either. He is jumping in on the use of the N word.

Mitt Romney wants 'n word'-using police official to go. Why is he involved? - CSMonitor.com

I applaud Michelle for encouraging a discussion on racism, but let's not paint it as a
generational thing ( the past versus the present) because from where I am sitting
THIS generation is using the N word and women knock down language far more
than an occasional off cuff remark by someone's grandparent or aunt....

and really, is there a big difference between referring to someone as "you right wingers"
and Michelle pointing out to confront someone when they say "those people",
Sounds the same to me....
so STOP IT
Said by Whites, Hispanics and Blacks to each other regardless of the color of your skin.

"Wut up my N*gga ?" is not a racist slur to them but a "Hello, what's up" believe it or not.

I agree with the First Lady. There is no place for racism in American society today directed towards any group.

People who still think that way are over the hill, uneducated or backwards - usually some combination of all 3.

America is about continued greatness looking into the future.

I agree and it's too bad that there are those on here who truly want America to fail and you can tell just by reading their comments on here.

Like when someone says "she is a typical white person"?

"division" tactic? Hardly. Seems to be very common sense and a suggestion to work things out within the family setting. A very conservative-themed approach, if you ask me.

No, it's division tactics. Family members shouldn't be encouraged to be pit against each other like this. It will just move to the next thing if people are compliant.
