How was the crime rate of those other nations effected by slavery and Jim Crow?

he's likely blaming because he can't accept it was his son that did this; not usual. But he forgot it seems that he stabbed three people to death according to reports. Objects or laws are easy to blame for violence of people you don't have to really do anything to any person just make a rule. Been doing that for years with rising violent acts such has this one. If you look bombs are very popular around the world and not hard to construct at all.

This is about the father of one of the victims, not the killer.

Gun control works everywhere.

Pretty sure there are areas of each city, where you would not want to be unarmed.
It is rather pricey to live in New York City, where poverty breeds violent crime.

So why is that New York City with just 44% of white population has a murder rate of 5.1 while Houston with 49.3% of whites has 10.0 and dallas with 50.7% of whites has an embarrasing 12.4 per 100,000 ???

How is that possible that MORE diverse new york city has HALF the murder rate of gun-loving and less diverse Texas cities like Houston and Dallas? I can tell you: gun control works.

Huh? Are you losing it? Which one is it: is New York City pricey or poor? Lol.

Gun politics in Canada - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

It seems to me that Elliot Rodgers could have accomplished the same thing if he was a Canadian citizen living in Canada as he accomplished as a US citizen here.

Huh? What does this has to do with anything? NYC is more diverse yet twice safer than Houston or Dallas. You're barking up the wrong tree, pal.

I suggest reading Thomas Sowell's "White Liberals and Black Rednecks" for the answer to that question. The fact is Southern culture is more violent. Statistics have to be carefully analyzed and other factors considered. Correlation does not equate to causation. Intelligent people know that.

Chicago has a rate of 18.5 despite tougher gun laws than Dallas and Houston. Stop isolating and cherry picking stats if you want an honest debate.
