Quite frankly, I'm certain the president is a hell of a lot smarter than some anonymous Internet poster, no matter how inflated said poster's sense of self is.

I don't care about Reagan or just about an president the issue here is THIS GOVERNMENT can do whatever it wants and you BELIEVE and or willing to be lied too and accept that as truth and only thing worth in this country is liberty. If your liberty comes at the price of lies tyranny will soon FOLLOW and following presidents, military actions and governments is the death to all freedom. When we entrust government to our health, our food, our planet, our liberty or lives or happiness what are you really giving up.

When you trust your government to the point where right and wrong and covering up deaths is considered ok, to be ignored, and using deaths and or other fiction to distract you we are rats in a cage.

One more "disaster", "terrorist attack", and or something that impacts with epic effect will bring about the end of america.
People are so dependent on this government for everything they will believe anything they tell you for food, water, shelter and that is reality. All to be safe they will accept an lie and these lies are nothing more then tests for the future lies.

We do have to admit that Obama found an answer to the burning question of whether or not he can be perceived as appearing any weaker in the eyes of our enemies... and the answer is a resounding YES!!!

You seem to have missed some recent SCOTUS rulings. The government cannot do "whatever it wants."

Well, gee, if Barbara Walters said it, it must mean everyone on the left thinks that way. By that logic, that makes you a birther, since Donald Trump has expressed that belief.

It's funny, but I've never heard of anyone on the left saying that Obama should be granted sainthood. Yet there was an actual movement on the right to canonize Reagan as a saint. Unfortunately for them, the Catholic church shot them down because Reagan wasn't Catholic. But there's your model for "blind devotion."

Barbara is kind of the epitome of liberal thinking.

Basically because Obama answer to every misstep, gaffe, scandal, ineptitude, failure, and destructful consequence for the policies and actions of his administration is - "I was not aware."

Obama is always feigning to be disconnected, out of the loop, ignorant, oblivious, clueless, and forgetful, when confronted with all his scandals and incompetence of his own administration, and then he compounds it all by being unable to focus long enough to follow thru on his promised actions to "get to the bottom" of any of them. Add to that, no one is ever held accountable for these acts, especially himself.

The deification of Reagan was no more blatant than the deification of Obama. In fact, conservatives routinely called Reagan out for some of his actions and policies. I would love to see the left be as vocal in their criticism of Obama as the right was in their criticism of Reagan. Believe it or not, that's what the founders expected of this country - a government which could be openly criticised by the people without fear of reprisal. That seems to be antithetical to the vision of modern government, but that was the intent.

What makes you think so? Mind, I'm not saying that Obama is unintelligent, but I don't really think that he is quite as intelligent as you seem to believe he is. So, what evidence do you use to come to your conclusion that he is smarter than any person on this forum? Intelligence is not a requirement for a POTUS, nor has it been for decades. The advent of television pretty much killed the idea that a president has to be intelligent. It's nothing but a popularity contest now, based on how the candidate looks first and how well they speak to the cameras second, with the amount of money that they have available to spend on attack adds coming in a distant third.

Obama wouldn't do that.. it is too blatant.. he does it through osmosis, so slowly people won't notice as the American people become pawns and robots.

Really ok.. the president ALONE deems you a terrorist.. your dead, drone attack, no review nothing, or locked away somewhere forever no trail no lawyer that is now a LAW.

Look it up

In the middle of the night they can take you, beat you, and then do whatever they want if they choose.
Most people will keep their mouth shut they don't have to have any evidence and of they do say they have it will disappear.

The IRS can target you ordered for political reasons, the NSA can listen to any of your calls and private conversations. The government can promise to take care of you and your health and then put you on a secret list and while you wait you die. These are the people we have given the rights to our healthcare too. How you going to complain to the media? You must be a nut job right they will ignore you unless its a SLOW news week. But since they mostly love OBAMA good luck getting heard.

Sure they can't do whatever they want? When they are caught nobody is fired it seems and the president protects his little friends even when people die.
IF you lie about facts and or Benghazi you get promoted to national security adviser in the Obama Admin.

But I'm sure those current issues might not be enough for you.
