Actually several states have higher then federal minimum wages. Oregon and Washington both do. It really hasnt made businesses run to or from them.

Inflation is 2%. This raise is quite a bit more than 2%.

I agree with you 100%. Finally, we have an economic experiment which will produce some factual data. Most of the argumentative posts thus far are founded upon ideology and speculation.
