I despise New Jersey so much that I am trying to boycott products made in that state. This can be difficult especially when buying medication because so many of the pharm. companies are headquarted there. Yesterday I tried to buy vitamins and both brands offered were based in New Jersey. I don't want to support people that love taxes and criminals.

Well by all means stay in Nevada then. Our gov. gets rid of capital punishment and somehow people in NJ 'love' taxes and criminals? Maybe we should take a page out of your gov's book? Let's see how it helped you out:

How about instead of killing them we put them to work $0/hr. Why should killers be allowed to die? Good people die everyday in much worse ways than a 'needle'. Why should they even be allowed to appeal? Let them rot and wish for death.

Why should killers be allowed to die...b/c they killed someone...why should they be allowed to live on our taxes...we feed them, give them medical care...they have a right to receive a college degree, work out rooms, libraries, tv's, computers....sheesh....all on our taxes...so no, we shouldn't put them to work, but put them to death...

Now, I'm all for those who have other sentences to do work, like clean the highways, build bridges, repair retaining walls, etc. Yes indeed....I'm telling you, this country has gone so soft...

and NJ...even though a beautiful state, it is run by criminals and liberal minded money....

And bemoaing the use of precise and accurate language is just silly. In fact, it strikes me as- how shall I say this?- a bit "PC."
It strikes me as obtuse to use the word "pejorative" in a way that it can be construed to refer either to the policy or your opinion of the policy.

But we digress.

To return to the context: there can be no more efficacious way to remove the fear of murderers re-offending than by executing them.

Precisely, why should they be allowed to have any of those things provided? I remember someone posting an article on here about how convicts (don't remember which prison) wanted DirecTV. I mean C'MON! lol. They should barely be allowed the basic essentials. If they are allowed to die than I hate to say that it shouldn't be so expensive to be 'humane'.

No: computers, tv, books, no workout equipment, hell...no crayons. I'll go as evil and as far as no family visits.

ps: thanks from before lol

Which other crimes would this argument not apply to?

Obviously, you have no history in running a prison.

Like I'm sure most city-data'yans don't.

Yeah, you want to keep the population sane, in control, and relatively satisfied. Screw that. Bring back chain gangs

ps: we're talking killers here
