No, that is incorrect. Affirmative action prevents racial discrimination.

It is constantly changing depending on the latest USSC ruling. The grossest racist forms, such as quotas, have been pretty much remedied by the courts. The fact is you can oppose AA without being racist.

From WIKI:

Quote:

Grutter v. Bollinger, 539 U.S. 306 (2003), was a landmark case in which the United States Supreme Court upheld the affirmative action admissions policy of the University of Michigan Law School. Justice Sandra Day O'Connor, writing for the majority in a
5-4 decision and joined by Justices Stevens, Souter, Ginsburg, and Breyer, ruled
that the University of Michigan Law School had a compelling interest in
promoting class diversity. The court held that a race-conscious admissions
process that may favor "underrepresented minority groups," but that also took
into account many other factors evaluated on an individual basis for every
applicant, did not amount to a quota system that would have been unconstitutional
under Regents of the University of California v.
Bakke
.

Justices Ginsburg and Breyer concurred in judgment, but stated that they
did not subscribe to the Court's belief that the affirmative measures in
question would be unnecessary in 25 years.
Count me with the minority on that decision.

From Rehnquist's dissent:

Quote:
For example, in 2000, 12 Hispanics who scored between a 159—160 on the LSAT and
earned a GPA of 3.00 or higher applied for admission and only 2 were admitted.
App. 200—201. Meanwhile, 12 African-Americans in the same range of
qualifications applied for admission and all 12 were admitted. Id., at
198. Likewise, that same year, 16 Hispanics who scored between a 151—153 on the
LSAT and earned a 3.00 or higher applied for admission and only 1 of those
applicants was admitted. Id., at 200—201. Twenty-three similarly
qualified African-Americans applied for admission and 14 were admitted.
Id., at 198.
I call that clear evidence of racism.

Hillary Clinton.

Oh, I'm sorry, that was an old racist white Democrat woman.
Don't forget. Joe "You can't walk into a 7-11 unless you have a slight Indian accent " Biden.

Then there was Bill Clinton saying that not long a go Barack Obama would have been the hired help at the White House, and Harry Reid complimenting President Obama for being articulate.

But, they are all Democrats and because there is a D after their name it is impossible for them to be racist old white men.

The brainchild of a black Republican.

Today the left would call him an Oreo.

And you think the DNC isn't? Which party elected a KKK member for decades? Oh yeah, Democrats.

If all the Democrats have is "old racist white man", then they are in serious trouble.

GOP 2014!
No. They just represent a bunch of old racist white men. Know the difference. They're the leaders, and the geezers are the base. That's why the GOP won't win the White House for at least another 8 years. They used to be the majority, but they aren't any more.

Simple math tells ya there ain't enough old white men, much less old racist white men, for Romney to have gotten 47% of the vote.
