Agreed. Unless you shoot them first.

[then you'd be the bad guy]

So the CCW holder was the unidentified woman who was shot and killed near the Walmart front door? Sheesh, how sad.

Unclear if the CCW story will be verified.

Latest descriptions from witnesses inside the Walmart:

It might be that the CCW prevented a much larger tragedy. I'm sure the details will follow.

These attacks are mounting up, increasing with velocity. Like the guy in GA...

Apparently these two yelled something like "the revolution has begun" according to one news outlet I read.

That is one of the minor versions. It is not in others. The victim was apparently a woman at the front of the store...she might have been the CCW but that is not clear at this point.

Once again, its better to be judged by 6 then carried by 12.

How many stories like this do we have to talk about here day after day after day after day... before Americans finally start to realize that we have a uniquely serious problem with irrational violent public outbursts of these kinds?

Crimes involving theft and drugs at least make some rational sense, even if evil - these don't. First it's a university, then it's a theater, then it's a wal-mart, then it's a grade school... and it's all in the span of a few months.

This is not normal. This does not happen in other first-world nations - any continent, any culture - with nearly this kind of deadly frequency, even when you adjust for population. No matter how you slice it, America comes in disproportionately high on this kind of violence.

Probably nowhere else in the first world is it so easy for lunatics to get their hands on guns and wreak carnage on the public. And all we're told is "more guns."

It ain't working. What we're doing now with our culture and our gun proliferation... is. not. working.

And it never will.

That CCW holder that gave his life saved countless lives...I only wish he got both of them, and he lived.

It shows the good guys don`t always drive into the sunset with the cheerleader.

It show that tactics, training, shot placements, and caliber make the difference between going home or going to the city morgue.
Some questions to be answered but you need to go back and read the account before crediting the CCW with saving lives. According to the initial thread the 2 assailants yelled for everyone to get out of the Walmart and were killed when the police back arrived. Everyone get out does not sound like they were interested in anyone but the police officers. If the CCW didn't pull their weapon they might still be alive, split second decision and exactly why you really need to be sure not only for your life but others.
