Why should they? Unless the military announces the deaths were not the result of friendly fire, there's nothing to investigate. With Benghazi, Obama said the attacks were provoked by a youtube video, then in the presidential debates he said that he had called them terrorist attacks all along. It was a blatant lie. Hillary Clinton made a speech saying she took full responsibility for what happened, but then when she was questioned she said what difference does it make what happened. It was a blatant attempt to dodge the very same responsibility she had previously claimed to accept. The two situations are not comparable at all.

We supposedly trained Iraqi soldiers to fight. I don't think I'd feel too safe as an Afghani official.

Why are they still there?

Because some political "leaders" refuse to learn the lessons of history. In this case:

It's a whole lot easier to get into a war than it is to get out of one.

That's an interesting take, I would hope that congress would be interested in the deaths of 5 soldiers by friendly fire but in this case there are no politics to be played at least not yet. Their focus on Benghazi wasn't to prevent any state department deaths in the future, they never got past the video.

This is less important because they can't blame Obama.

Oh, the America-haters in the Congress and on Fox News will try to link the tragedy to a "failure" of President Obama. It won't take long for them to dishonor our military. It's part of that ilk's behavior.
