There was a single talk about how the sun causes climate change by an unnamed person (or persons). No word who these people were, or the talk itself, just a quick BBC summary. No word about how many people stated in was man made and not the sun at the same conference. Challenges like this are how science is validated.
Talk about cherry picking for denialism.
It also doesn't explain why the Earth has not gotten cooler after the solar maximum during cycle 23 and into 24. If the solar activity diminished the Earth should have gotten cooler. Posting this provides more evidence that their theory was wrong.
Congrats on debunking your own point that the sun is causing it.
The sun's energy output varies, and yes, the cycle during the late 1990's was a particularly active one. That in no way means that "climate change is a lie" or that "the sun is the only thing that affects Earth's temperature."
Seriously, if this were a high school science class, nearly every post on this forum remotely science-related would be given an "F" - and for good reasons.

Actually if you use the 27 year cooling heating cycles, we should see a steady cooling until about 2034. The last decade has blown the models up. According to the models we should have been suffering crop shortages, but instead we have record crops. According to one well known alarmist, we should have been well under water by now.

Ah, the OP has there was global warming..but it's caused by the sun.
The first part of your link states "Despite no global warming in 10 years..."
They can't both be true. Believing there has not been, and there has been, global warming at the same time is nutty.
That one person said we would be all under water as ascribing it to others is like saying anyone who owns a gun is going to go out and mass murder people. It's a silly generalization in order to build a rather stupid strawman. You can sit here and attack your strawman of what you assume I believe...but fighting with your imagination is a solo activity that I can leave you in peace with.
Actually that is right...The sun heats the earth, just like it heats the interior of a closed car, and CO2 prevents much of that heat from escaping and reflects it back heating it even more, in the same way the windows of a car prevent the long wave radiation from escaping a car.....That is why it is called the greenhouse effect.

That's one theory that spitballing scientists have come up with, yes.
The real science indicates that the Sun has everything to do with Earth temps.
That is what I said...The sun is the source of heat and some of that heat is trapped by CO2 and methane.
Just to be clear... the sun is not the only source of heat on earth that impacts the weather.
