Lott has done a number of studies on guns and crime. My point is that the OP implied "gun nuts" have no valid argument or research to back up their beliefs about guns and crime, and that is simply a false narrative.

Hate to admit it but you are probably right...

Conservative voters seem intent on stacking the deck with tea party extremists that are destined to lose, forgetting that a more moderate candidate is what is most appealing to the majority of Americans. They will be their own downfall.

As far as guns and ammo? I doubt we will ever see a complete reversal in our lifetimes, but just in case, buy it cheap and stack it deep.

Guns definitely don't cause more homocides, although they may cause more homicides.

Example A: How to get people to ignore what you have to say.

1. Start right off calling them names.

They don't care if you read it or not.

They are only trying to make themselves feel superior.

Oooh, but he said "Harvard" and "peer reviewed", so it must be "fact". How can anyone argue in the face of such obvious intellectual superiority?

I'm sure the number of homicides in North Korea is very low.

To socialists human lives are just a statistic and that disgusts me to no end.
