I would vote, 'none of the above' because I don't care if I'm call girl or woman. Never did, never will care as long as its not said in an insulting way.

Really hate the use of female it sounds like COPS.
I don't refer to the guys I am attracted to as boys.

I don't object when someone calls me a girl, I don't care *that* much, but it does make me feel a bit trivialized. I have earned every single one of these lines and gray hairs.

I don't wear clothes with cute duckies or bunnies or kitties on them either.

To be perfectly safe it is best to refer to "her"?? as a 'humanoid of unknown genetic and psychological determination".

This makes the case for name tags being made mandatory. Using the name is the only recourse from scrourage meted out by the ever vigilant social justice 'legal' system.

If my boss or male peers called me girl, honey, sweetie, etc, I corrected them (or replied calling them sugarplum and they got the message), not cool.

If my friends called me girl, no prob.

Now I'm a Ma'am most of the time.

Did not vote. DO have a quandary.

I try to be politically correct, but as an old geezer, I have trouble determining the age of young ladies. Out of politeness, I address a younger woman as ma'am. I know from experience that some, maybe most, women in their 30's and 40's are disturbed by this.

Help me out.
