Because some of us care about our fellow citizens and his/her ability to feed the family, which has been impacted significantly by poor leadership in this country.

No I'm not saying prices didn't rise, but I am saying 2% is healthy and good- and is not WAY up as some here state. Most people get regular cost of living raises to reflect this fact.
Too bad they aren't keeping pace with everyday inflation.
