Same liberals that blast CEO pay, blast some wealthy and preach about inequality. Hypocrites. No way has she every done anything worthy of a salary like that, especially when NBC, the Clintons, and liberals everywhere love to preach about the poor and unfortunate.

Let me guess, she thinks shes as broke as her mom was huh....
Nice liberal move there bud. People earn salaries based on what they are worth. That you can't make $600k a year is not their fault. Stop hating on the rich.

But her new high-profile job, and the quick ascent of others similarly situated, do serve as reminders of just how institutionalized such advantages really are.

Oh, sorry. That's from a column complaining about Jenna Bush Hager's Today show deal. Hopefully Jenna got as sweet a deal as Chelsea.
Yep.

I was confused by this. See, normally when corporations do something odd, or even stupid, with their money, right-wingers jump and down about the "free market" and how "big businesses should be allowed to do whatever they want if it makes money," and who cares what the cost might be. And yet as soon as a "liberal" makes any money, suddenly the right-wingers are running around like lunatics, all upset about things.

While I can safely say that plenty of celebrities get paid a lot of money for doing little to nothing in our culture, it is a laughable sham to pretend that this is some sort of problem unique to "liberals."

people on tv make a shhtload of money

plus when you're born into the right family money gets thrown at you.

paris hilton was born into a rich family...never did shht other than exist and people gave her millions

the dumb bish had it so twisted she had the nerve to say "i work hard for everything i got" lol. yeah pretty sure she never had to fill out a job application in her life

anyways, I veered off topic just to make the point that $600k doesnt sound out of the ordinary

It would be more likely to give Hillary an out if she decides not to run. More time with the family, doncha know.

Yep - because an "icky liberal" made some money, it's clearly bad.

Just like when Al Gore's silly book made money, it was "bad," but when Sarah Palin's made money, it was "good" - but it's not partisan or hypocritical at all... right...

The REAL question people should be asking is, "how the heck do I get in on the pre-paid book deal scam!" There's a lot of money to be made when famous people publish books that nobody buys, and it's funny how that works...

That's a little crazy.

A woman like Hillary doesn't have to depend on an 'out'. She's too strong for that.

If she doesn't want to run, she will say so and she won't run.

Having to depend on an 'out' is for weak women.

As expected, you liberal morons missed the point. How in any good conscience could those whine about equality and the poor and yada yada except such huge salaries ? Especially when they do very little to earn it? Why aren't you giving that money to the poor? Schools? Unions that you don't think make enough money?

Hypocrites. Love like queens and kings while bitching about all the things you ***** about and want government to so more of. Downgrade you own lives and live like Mother Teresa. None of them do that. None.

I'm sorry, but when, exactly, has anyone here stated that "liberals care about the poor." Nobody in power cares about any of us, but at least those on the far left generally don't HATE the poor and seek to starve them (cutting food stamps, not raising minimum wage, etc.)

Also, isn't this whole event more of that "Free Market" stuff the folks on the right are supposed to love?

So much rage when a "liberal" makes money... so sad...

How do you know what she's doing with her money?

Besides, one has to HAVE money in order to give it away, don't you think?

How do you know what she's doing to earn that salary? Are you spying on her?
