Sounds like a screw up. Whats your conspiracy theory?
I know I would address and invitation to a congressperson using an IRS address. Just common sense eh? Odder yet the media assumes he got her invintation?
I mean is it too much trouble to check? Or that she obviously was invited also? Reporting no longer includes checking with the sources?
P.S. I haven't heard back from the LA times reporter about his sloppy article yet.

There are other articles around on this. Apparently, the senators invitation was double stuffed into her envelope. The person or machine that stuffed the envelopes put both invitations in the envelope addressed to Lerner.
Ask yourself why an organization inviting a republican senator to speak would intentionally send the invitations out incorrectly. It was a mistake.
More interesting to me is where this email came from.
Perhaps the dump of emails IRS provided? That would really be a coverup on the part of IRS lol.

From the article ---
"In a statement, Grassley's office said the senator did not attend the event, and did not receive any invitation intended for Lerner."

Granted I've only read two. Neither said this. Link? Or am I wasting my time in asking again?
