It is the job of the State Department and the CIA to know what is going on.

Many conservatives in Congress warned two years ago that the US had reduced its forces too quickly. I think they were proven correct, weren't they?
Without a Forces protection agreement how could we stay there.?

Many on the right have been predicting this for some time. Beck, Hannity, Savage, Blankley, Buchanan, etc.

You must have just been watching too much of MSNBC to have noticed.
Kinda funny how so many on the right were initially duped by 'faulty intelligence' yet have now become so clairvoyant, eh?

Must set a new standard for revisionist miracles.

So that's why he signed the agreement with the Iraq to remove all US troops? So he was right before he was wrong, but only wrong because the withdrawal he approved happened under Obama, right?

Apparently we should stay there until the Sunnis and Shiites make nice and forget their centuries old bloody feud. Should have gone with the Biden partition plan.

Remember:

1) The war is somehow Obama's fault, even though he didn't vote to start it. Bush, however, will never be blamed because he's a saint and somehow blaming Bush is "letting Obama off the hook" even though there is literally nothing that could have been done to prevent the current outcome once the war started and Saddam fell.

2) If we leave Iraqi on schedule, it is "Obama's fault we're giving up the gains we made." Nobody can define those gains, aside from lining the pockets of Halliburton and Cheney, but that's okay.

3) If we stay in Iraqi or send more troops, it is "Obama's fault we're wasting money on this war." It is never Bush's fault since the war was perfectly affordable then for reasons nobody can define.

It is always Obama's fault, and even though those on the far-right cannot come up with ANY answer to the question regarding what SHOULD be done, they will consistently whine about everything Obama does, even if that means doing a 180 on their supposed viewpoints in less than a week. Just look around this forum for people grumbling about how "weak" he was for not sending troops, and how how the same people are complaining that he is sending troops. It would be funny, except these flip-floppers get to vote.

LOL. Not having that access has never stopped them from second-guessing the White House up to now. Why should this time be different?
