In parts of the country, christian nutjob beliefs prevail. In south texas (where im from), my agnostic beliefs are truly in the minority. If anything, I am discriminated against and need to keep quiet to avoid confrontation. Even in tolerant places like the coasts and big cities, christians are allowed to believe their fables and have equal access just like everyone else.

Said the partisan hack with zero credibility who can't quit whining about Republicans. But bonus points for the hypocrisy!
Quote:
Here are the facts - Obama is just a continuation of the past.
That is actually not a fact. Bush did not propose a trillion dollar stimulus. Bush did not propose government mandated healthcare. Bush did not declare that America is not exceptional. Bush did not pack the labor relations board with union sympathizers. Bush did not second guess the Supreme Court. Bush did not close national monuments for visiting veterans. Bush did not use the IRS to target his political opponents. Bush did not defend his Attorney General after he was caught lying under oath to congress. Bush did not declare that the police acted stupidly. Bush did not announce he was going to use his pen and phone to legislate around congress. There are plenty of differences between Bush and Obama. That is not to say I think Bush was a good president - he wasn't. But Obama's level of corruption, disregard for the rule of law, and dishonesty is on a whole other level than Bush.
Quote:
If good old Bush was great enough to remain in office until the end, so is Obama. Another else is just more partisan hypocrisy from the far right, a collective of whiners who still can't accept the fact that their party is unable to produce anything more than bigoted morons as the follow-on to the worst president in history - good old George Dubya Bush.
So you accuse others of partisan hypocrisy in the same paragraph as you say Bush was the worst president in history and Obama is just a continuation of it. I wonder if you're capable of seeing the irony in that.
Quote:
And, no, Bush is not "the past" because we are still suffering as a nation from the idiotic decisions made by him and his party. Try to stick to the facts and quit pretending that US history began in January, 2009.
Sure. Why don't you stick to the facts and quit pretending that US history began in January, 2001. Because the housing bubble and the deregulation of banks were signed into law by Bill Clinton. The DOMA legislation was signed into law by Bill Clinton. Bill Clinton had Osama Bin Laden and let him go, and there would have been no 9/11 attack if he hadn't done that. The welfare reform that cut social spending was signed into law by Bill Clinton. The Free Trade Agreement that started the mass offshoring of jobs was signed into law by Bill Clinton. It's funny how you liberals are all for pointing out everything that Obama's involved with that is a holdover from Bush, but when it comes to recognizing all things that were done by the Democrat in office previous to Bush you seem to develop sudden amnesia.

Demonizing?

Disapproval of lawbreakers is not "demonizing." And it's not trying to "steal 2016."
