Agreed!! Absolutely outstanding response. I also thought the "where IS this "peaceful majority" of Muslims? What aren't they speaking out and being proactive in their disdain for the radical terror groups? Yep...time to toss the PC garbage out.

What she said is so true. Peaceful people doing nothing that allows evil things to happen.
BRAVO Bridgitte !!!
Why can't we have courageous leaders who are willing to speak this truth this well ?

Thank you janelle - I am passing this on to friends - lets all pass it on and hope it goes viral enough the MSM will show it.

We have had several threads about Muslims denouncing this stuff. Where were you?

I have been saying for years that IF you belong to a group that is stereotyped, and you don't like the stereotype, it behooves YOU to do everything in your power to make sure that the stereotype is NEVER reinforced.
It is up to the PEACEFUL Muslims to denounce the radical homicidal maniacs in the Muslim ranks, and they should do it every chance they get, and if they don't get a chance, they should MAKE the chance! THEY, and ONLY THEY can change the way the world sees THEIR religion! If THEY can not or will not do it, it will never be done!
IMO, they should start at the year 632, when, as I have read, the Muslim religion split over who should take over when Mohammed died, creating the Sunnis and the Shi'ites! Patch THAT rift, and the world may look upon them with more favor.

Exactly.

Why aren't the peaceful Muslims "doing something about it?" Umm... because they don't own their own personal armies, which is what would be required to topple the crazy dictators and terrorists that haunt the Middle East and corrupt their religion. The peaceful ones HAVE spoken out against the violence, but that is not part of the agenda that sells in this nation - or anywhere else - so their protests are simply not covered by the news.

Heck, look at the idiocy of the Iraqi war, and this nation is technically a democracy and "peaceful Americans" couldn't even stop that one from happening in their own nation! How the heck are people in non-democracies or far removed from the Middle East supposed to stop the violence from happening there if we couldn't stop our own leaders from going off the rails?!

No, the "what are you doing something to stop it!" is just the usual right-wing blather - the standard attempt to paint an entire religion as violent.

And once again, people don't get it. They are asking questions on how to treat the symptom instead of the cause.

Our government has been occupying holy lands and killing people in the Middle East for years. Anyone with a backbone would retaliate. I don't blame the terrorists for seeking revenge, I blame them for the cowardly way they did it. The 9/11 attack was cowardly, no different than the drone attacks this current administration has used that have killed almost 200 children in Pakistan and Yemen. If someone killed everything I love, I wouldn't wait for justice, I'd seek revenge on the ones responsible.

Freedom and Liberty is for all of the people all of the time. Freedom isn't piecemeal. You either believe in something or you don't.

Do your own research - don't just assume that because nobody mailed you a flyer with the information you want on it, that information must not exist... even if ignoring the information helps support a certain political agenda... such as characterizing an entire religion as violent.
