Lol......he sounds like Beavis, and he looks like he's been hitting The Chronic with his "Choom Gang" friends.
He has some of the worst speech tics I've ever heard. Usually, that's a sign that someone might not be telling the truth, or at the very least, is quite uncertain about what they are talking about.
That's dead on and hilarious! He can lie pretty good reading from
a screen but put him on his own and the mouth can't process the lies as quick as his brain comes up with them hence the pause and uh, uh, uh
So much for being a "good orator". Darth Barry really belongs on a TV comedy series instead of doing this gig in Washington. Might even garner good ratings (provided anyone still cares).
Have you guys ever listened to Romney? Heck to the vast majority of politicians in unscripted discussions?
The Uh is a way to delay and think about whats being said. Once you begin listening for it...its amazing how many folks do it.
For real fun, goto China.....LOL. They use a entirely different word for Uh.
I think some people just get nervous and say uh when they're not really sure what to say, but I don't recall Mitt Romney really having this problem in interviews. Obama's inability to string a sentence together without using the uhs so much is unfortunate since he's got a reputation as a great orator. Maybe people would cut him more slack if he wasn't sold as some modern day version of Martin Luther King, Jr. (who also never said uh in regular conversation).
At least Obama didn't grow up as a Millenial because he'd be saying like instead of uh. Nothing makes an intelligent person sound more stupid than saying like all the time.
