Uh- not so many.
Remember that the movie takes place 200 centuries in the future, and that the alien is a parasite from another galaxy far, far, away.
Fiction is fiction. Any speculation can be drawn from fiction and can be spun out in any way a person wants.
Ebola is not from outer space. It is another creature from mother earth, just like we are, and it's here, right now, causing real people to suffer, not fictional characters.
It's not like our disease specialists know nothing at all about viruses. Ebola is like any other virus- it has it's weak spot. We know how to search for that weak spot, and know how to exploit the weak spot once it is discovered. We have the entire sources of humanity to bear on our side of the battle, not just us.
And- humans are getting better and better in this fight. The fight will be scientific, for sure, but no fiction will be involved in it. Your comparison is fanciful and childish.
about 120 years in the future..
