Or does the right think this only became an issue the second Fox News and the right wing propaganda machine started screaming?

If you want something to hate Obama and his administration over, how about picking something that actually warrants some outrage - like routinely violating our privacy or pretending that the IRS emails got lost.
Yes it would be since the number of illegal minors has skyrocketed each year since Obama deferred deportation.
Since 2009 the numbers were increasing. Once deferred deportation was done the numbers went even higher.

Go check for yourself.

"Our borders have never been more secure"...right

Jason,
Then, who threatened the border agents not to talk about this to anyone for months?
Please give us examples about who exactly are the "right wing propaganda machine" and what have they screamed about? Especially things that were not true?

I've said this in an earlier post in this thread- I make it a point to glean my news from a multitude of resources, including right and left-leaning media outlets, but mostly the original sources via the web. (It's so unfortunate that politics have hijacked our news...)

After 5 years of TV surfing and 'net surfing, I have rarely found any right-leaning news outlets to "invent" stories. They usually reference sources from AP and Reuters, who are widely considered to be the original sources. (Yes, even that is up to debate). CNN is trying. MNSBC is woefully under-informed, and mostly is filled with absolute venomous hate and sarcasm, I'm sad to observe and say. Unfortunately, many of my overtly left wing loony friends listen to this station as their "religion", and won't even entertain the idea of listening to other outlets, even for comparison, let alone balance.

Just my 2 cents... -DD

It's probably their habit of creating idiotic conspiracy theories - like Obama coming to "take our gunz!!", or that time when you guys shut the government down, and then got mad at Obama because the government was shut down. This is no different - a contract to help deport undocumented immigrants is proof that Obama welcomes undocumented immigrants. That simply makes no sense.
Why wouldn't it make sense? Obama has been promising amnesty since he first took office. He released thousands of them into our country from detainment citing fund shortages and some of them were criminals. He gave a stay of deportation to many of them (DACA) with work permits and just renewed it for two more years. He instructed Homeland Security not to deport any illegals unless they were "convicted" criminals. No matter his smoke and mirrors these kids will never be deported and if he gets his way with congress (but he won't) he will give millions of illegals already here amnesty.

Clearly, they saw the writing on the wall and were trying to "get ahead of the curve". Between 2011 and 2013 the number of unaccompanied minors TRIPLED - so why would it be a surprise (or some kind of nefarious plot) to see there's a trend and try and PREPARE FOR IT in advance?

Yeah right. Obama has been in Mexico and Central America many times since he took office telling them to come on over. They knew this was going to happen and facilitated it. How do you like Obama now, purposely causing a huge humanitarian crisis for millions of small children. What a despicable POS he is.

That's how activists get change done...using your emotions.

Children are the pawns of government.

Precisely.

Children, women, minorities... whatever it takes.

Too bad so many have been hoodwinked into the schemes and go right along with it.
