We lost a great man today, a brilliant intellectual who knew the mideast and the arabs mindset like no other. He was one of the brightest minds and greatest speakers, what a tragic loss at too young an age. My condolences to those who knew him personally.

Uh; maybe Mr Ajami wanted to be an American 1st. Many of us can't deal with the BS from the countries where our ancestors came from. I'm of Irish family and have NO use for some of the terror things the IRA did, does that make me a "self hating Irishman"? Sheesh!
