Given your outrage, would you be in favor of tax increases to provide the funding to bring the govts computers into the 21 century?

EPA joins IRS lost emails club

Vindication!

We can all take our fake conspiracies and go home.
I sure wonder why the liberal leftists in this country arent every bit as outraged about the IRS as are conservatives. Such folks dont understand that the government is violating the first amendment right of freedom of assembly and the right to petition for redress of grievances as guaranteed by the first amendment?

If it can happen to one group, it can happen to another. We must fight for our common freedom, every time government tries to steal it from us.

Fake conspiracy? Look around. Some people arent concerned because they appear to approve of those who are the current victims of government excess, not understanding that the other shoe can drop at any time.

No. I'd ask that they budget properly like everyone else has to. And every government agency should be audited. What in the hell do they with the billions a year they take from us?!!?

Hard drives are falling like domino's.

These people are playing us for fools.

Any computer savvy person knows you send a dead drive to a Data Recovery company, NOT the office techies or even forensic investigators. Everything on the disks can be recovered no matter the condition of the 'sectors'. The data is elsewhere on the disks.

It is time to dissolve this administration. Forget impeachment, forget hearings, forget lawsuits. Dissolve the administration and reverse everything it has done since inauguration. Start at the top! Forcefully remove EVERYONE from every office and every agency. This administration is gangrenous to America.

It will be painful, it won't be pretty. But it's needed.

No, they could have done without lavish bonuses, and expenses for Star Trek videos and line dancing lessons for IRS employees, and buy a ton of computers with that.

They knew how to back up emails in the 20th century.

They prioritize it like anyone with a budget does. Clearly saving emails is at the bottom of the priority list after they spend to save data critical to their primary mission.

Don't be so outraged. This is no secret. Congress knows they are not funding their IT needs adequately.

Do you think IRS still has people using windows XP because they want to? No, its because they don't have funds.
