White House to Congress: We Did Not See ISIL Coming | Washington Free Beacon

Sorry, but how can anyone buy that. We've had reports of others saying they warned about the Admin about this. So maybe they saw it coming but just ignored it. At least be truthful

Obama is more worried about his legacy & phoney promises that he made the doom to fail policies hurting everyday Americans. To Barry trouble in the Gulf means more time on the course...of failure!
Where is Bagger Vance when you need him Obama has lost his swing but not his arrogant swagger.

This should make people feel all warm and fuzzy inside knowing that he didn't know about a TERRORIST group.

This is what happens when you put an inexperienced ideologue in the White House. He runs on the premise that America should not be in Iraq, refuses to allow a training force to remain in Iraq upon pullout in December 2011, and completely shuts off the spigot as if Iraq is an afterthought.

THEN, when faced with the consequences of his failed policies, he is beholden to his "good war, bad war" strategy and is left to deal with a boatload of loud-mouth liberals who are hell-bent on holding Obama to his "bad war" campaign promise, which effectively neuters the President from doing what is right in Iraq.

This President is just worthless in every conceivable way. Democrats and liberals have never been known for extraordinary foresight, but this President takes it to a whole new level.

When it's good news they gloat, pump up their chests and claim victory for their great plans.
When it's bad news they never saw it coming or didn't find out til they read it in the paper.

How much more proof do you need that those you give the keys to Whitehouse aren't always the sharpest knives in the drawer regardless of their race or background.

Stop voting for anyone the MIC or the larger Corporate entities endorse as represented by the likes of Faux News and you might finally get one with some moral integrity and ethical backbone. 'Til then, be satisfied with the bottom feeders with agendas such as the Clintons and Bushes.

Obama is a tool; a dull one, but a tool nonetheless, being manipulated by a very corrupt carpenter.

Lets say its bogus that they said this. We still have others who warned about it very clearly. This Admin still did nothing and acted like they were caught off guard.

They knew about ISIL but what caught everyone off guard was the Iraqi army totally collapsing and running away and not being able to cope with men with guns in soft sided pickups.
What would you have had the US do? Move US troops to northern Iraq to stop any advance and protect the corrupt and brutal Shiite government?
