Are you prepared to live in a card-board box and eat mud?

Why don't you acquaint yourself with the Petro-Dollar, so you least look smarter.

Who would be foolish enough to think that the US actually wants peace in those countries?

So long as you are ready to devolve your Standard of Living down to that of the late 1960s/early 1970s, I believe you.

Somehow, I don't believe you or anyone else who makes such silly comments can Walk-the-Walk.

Petro-Economically....

Iraq, Libya, Syria and Iran

What did they have in common ?
They didn't trade oil in petrodollars.

We invaded Iraq and Libya. Gee wiz..they are now back trading oil in petrodollars.

But we still have Syria and iran "to fix" don't we ?

It's not about freeing oppressed people. It's not about democracy.
It's all about saving the petrodollar.

So, there is a strongman dictator in charge of a middle eastern country who is a certifiable SOB, but he does keep the various factions in line. We don't like his methods, so we start arming his opponents, and then when that all fails we'll go remove the guy by force....opening the country to a takeover by islamic extremists who form factions faster than you can keep up with. We did that in Iraq and see how that turned out. But now we are ready to go do this again, lather, rinse, repeat.

The difference between Iraq and any other country we decide to liberate is that we know for a fact who it will turn out. So really, we don't need to do this ever again.

Arm the Syrian opposition? WTF... haven't we spent two weeks crying over ISIS in Iraq? They're good guys in Syria but bad guys in Iraq?

Hope Assad destroys those rebels.
