Oh my god. Is it really possible to need two or more abortions in one month?

Abortion almost always results in at least one fatality.

The death rate from fire arm ownership is much lower than that.

Um, No. What ul78 is probably saying is that only one from the "incredibly stupid of willfully ignorant"â„¢ crowd would try and draw some twisted comparison between abortion and gun regulation.

  • Extensive background checks will be conducted on all women who are seeking an abortion.
  • If a woman wants an abortion, she has to include her name on a public registry.
  • You must purchase abortion insurance in case things go wrong.
  • This new abortion control bill will establish a 7 day waiting period to obtain the abortion.
  • You cannot have more than 1 abortion per month.
  • You must be 18 years or older to have an abortion.
What are your thoughts?

Compounded by the fact that you're serious makes this even MORE hilarious!

Why do you, a man, get to dictate what a woman does with her body?

Sorry, but not going to work.

Woman's body, woman's choice. Abortion isn't murder.

Logical fallacy #2! False Cause!

Abortion doesn't kill a human. It kills a developing zygote/fetus that until late in the third trimester, isn't capable of surviving outside the womb.

No, just saying the two things are like comparing apples and oranges. You are trying to compare two completely different things and you know it.

A fetus isn't a person.

I wonder what the OP would think if the government began trying to regulate masturbation.

Neither "right" trumps the other. They are as equally important as the other.

The big issue with guns is "who is handling these guns?" - Which *could* be criminals, thugs, mentally ill people, etc. When the truth of the matter is that most gun owners are mild mannered Americans.

The big issues with abortion is "why is this woman getting one?" - In all honesty it's no one's business other than the woman in question, the man who got her pregnant (exceptions to be had here), and the doctor doing the procedure. No one else has any business or right interfering with this.

Looking at it that way, the issue seems to die down dramatically.
