The next election is 2015 and the country is weary of the conservative government.

On top of that, the pipeline will add very very few jobs (almost all of it temporary work) to the US economy and the price of oil will not be affected... in fact, if the price of oil goes down enough, the entire oil sands operation will barely even be economically feasible.

Why any American would actually want the pipeline to come down through the US is beyond me... you're taking an enormous risk and seeing very very little reward. Maybe some oil tycoons will benefit from refining it or something but the average American consumer will gain nothing.

Sounds like more jobs than the "shovel ready" jobs to me.

Job security for me.

I might change my handle to PA-31T.

Of course you do. You blame everything in your own little world on him, even the cost of your barbecue. Must be really convenient to have someone you can blame for everything that pisses you off.

Yes --- and look how he's now packing the nation full with the most helpless and impoverished Central Americans -- and with skyrocketing fuel prices, exactly who is going to have to pay for these people's heat when winter comes? Every day Obama is bringing in thousands of these people who will now need heat in the winter, air conditioning in the summer, food and billions more dollars for their free health care. No good explanation for why he's bringing them in and he sure isn't the one who will pay for them -- but increasing the population rapidly while cutting off our fuel sources isn't at all smart.

A conservative hallmark throughout the years is an inability to accept responsibility for anything (See: Bush/Cheney, McCain/Palin, Romney/Ryan) and blame others. This behavior is far more widespread and deeply rooted in the people who voted for the above examples.

For your info I have one foot in the grave and it really doesn't matter to me. What really matters to me and "pisses" me off to no end is what this "Bastard" in the WH is doing to ruin the future of my children!

Think of what a HUGE strategic advantage the pipeline would be to the USA in a time of dire need for energy.

Yes, we get first dibs if we REALLY need the oil (emergency).......or it does not go through the USA's pipeline.

Leave it to Presidente Osama and the Toiletocrats to screw things up!

Obama and the Leftists can now raise the flag of "Mission Accomplished".

This will be a KEY part of his "Legacy" ...... tie America's Energy Security to the Arab Mid-East and STOP North American Energy Security. Mark this down - it was a long struggle for Team Obama to stop our Energy Security.
