Why aren't they Mexico's problem since they stepped across their border first? If they are truly refugees, they were also refugees when they set foot in Mexico.

Where do you draw the line (if you draw one)?
Every Nation has a responsibility to Humanity commensurate with their ability to help.

And the Mexicans do nothing, nothing I can do about that, and once they step over our border they are our problem to deport or do with as is determined to be best. Just so ya know, I believe the vast majority should be sent home.

Is that because Cons care so much about people of color that so much compassion is just too hard for them to take so they react badly and support those that do give a cr*p what happens to them.

This statement is false. There is no "national responsibility" and no obligation for productive nations to help anti-productive ones.

This statement is false. There is no "national responsibility" and no obligation for productive nations to help anti-productive ones. There is no "humanity". There are humans. And they have an obligation to live rationally, and elect rationally. And if they don't, and if they pick totalitarians or terrorists to lead them, it is their problem, and their responsibility.
