The balance swung back towards civil liberties in the late 1970's with the U.S. Senate's Church Committee hearings but all that progress was stripped away with the passing of the USA PATRIOT Act in 2001. It's time for serious reform of the Intelligence Agencies, again!

Also, I think we need FBI whistleblowers to expose the fact that less prominent Muslim-Americans have been intimidated, via gang stalking and gaslighting, in to silence about their unconstitutional plight.

The NSA is probably spying on as many people as it can. The way to avoid this is to be as inconspicuous as possible and to use old fashioned secure communications if you are planning a crime or a revolution. Good luck with the latter.

So what you are saying is some parts of the Bible are completely ignored by some Christians as being outdated?

How about we just demand that the Fourth Amendment be upheld again? Let's start by making examples of the NSA employees who were complicit in the unconstitutional surveillance of these 5 Muslim-Americans.

Here's something interesting to consider from respected NSA whistleblower and great American patriot William Binney.

William Binney is one of the highest-level whistleblowers to ever emerge from
the NSA. He was a leading code-breaker against the Soviet Union during the Cold
War but resigned soon after September 11, disgusted by Washington’s move towards
mass surveillance.

On 5 July he spoke at a conference in London organised by the Centre for
Investigative Journalism and revealed the extent of the surveillance programs
unleashed by the Bush and Obama administrations.

“At least 80% of fibre-optic cables globally go via the US”, Binney said.
“This is no accident and allows the US to view all communication coming in. At
least 80% of all audio calls, not just metadata, are recorded and stored in the
US. The NSA lies about what it stores.”

I'm very tough on militant Islam, but this sort of behavior is appalling.
You mean when you are not suggesting it?

Default If you can't find terrorists, make them

This Al Jazeera investigative report confirms that Muslim-Americans are being set up by the FBI to perpetuate the money grab known as the war on terror.

It is unfortunately pervasive and global. Interesting recent interview, from someone else who had an inside view.

This is a short video discussing how the FBI entraps susceptible Muslims.

All this is done so the FBI can substantiate its $8,000,000,000 a year budget.

HBO had a great investigative report about the FBI's Newburgh Sting operation last night.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J4Uf_YFCNOc

It details blatant entrapment tactics that show J. Edgar Hoover's spirit is still alive in well at the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
