Correlation does not equal to causation.

Crime is a complex issue often related to culture.

Correlation does not equal causation. One could likely just as easily show that the drop in crime was associated by the rise in cupcake shops.

As for the Crime Prevention Center. Well, a quick read on their own website shows there's nothing nonpartisan, much less academic aboiut the organization. Speaking of organization, it doesn't seem to be much more than one guy, who just happens to also be a Fox News columnist. Convenient.

The only thing this data does is prove that concealed carry has no real impact on the downward trend of violent crime/homicide. . .

Now if you did what Levitt did and showed crime by state and correlation by state. . .instead of this total number bullcrap you may have an argument (Levitt showed that states that introduced ability to Abort unwanted children prior to Roe versus wade benefited from reduce crime earlier)

If you want to believe the attached Fox news article, I have another correlation to show you . . that proves suicide and spending on science is connected.

Incidentally, the same phenomenon of crime falling has happened in most first world countries without the increase in CCP.

I had corn flakes on the morning of 9/11. Clearly, my eating of Corn Flakes caused that whole thing.
