In this Thursday's edition of "find that right," I challenge the board to find the right to contraceptives in the American constitution. What amendment is this right in? Good luck!

The right to contraceptives, like all rights under the Constitution, exist by law.

I believe that would fall under 'pursuit of happiness'.

Well, I couldn't beat the liberals. Darn it. Some will confuse the right to something vs. the right to not have the government prohibit something. In the case of contraception, the letter has been affirmed by SCOTUS (based on their interpretation of the 14th Amendment). But liberals' minds appear incapable of grasping any distinction.

No they don't. The specific right to bear arms is in the constitution, why not the right to contraceptives? Please find contraceptives in the American constitution. Thank you.

Pursuit of happiness doesn't guarantee delivery, only the ability to pursue. Doesn't seem like that fits.

Freedom means the freedom to mandate that others pay for what you want. Didn't you get the memo?

I don't understand how Ben Franklin could have missed the opportunity to include birth control; after all, isn't that one of the things he invented way back then in the 1700s?

Guess he was too busy 'doing BC research' over in France...lol

Where in the Constitution does it say that a person has the right to any prescription drug?

Where in the Constitution does it say that a person has the right to be married?

Where in the Constitution does it say that a person has a general right of privacy?

The Second Amendment does not grant any rights.
