From that point on everything he did with the exception of right after 9/11 he was vehemently opposed on. Even when he pushed Medicare Part D liberal vomited in their mouths they were so anxious to berate him. During the Reagan years Reagan made it clear as day that he wasn't going to play moral equivelancy with the Cold War and the SU. To that end he laid out over and over that he would support, on every front, opposition to Soviet influence. What did democrats do? They made part of his plan illegal. There was no Boland amendment before Reagan started funding the contras.

It's a good thing Reagan ignored them and stayed true to his Sun Tzuian military approach because ultimately that led to real change in the SU and democrats pushed the Boland amendment to its max including having many members of Reagan's staff convicted of felonies that they created.

And for you and NativeSon504's viewing pleasure:

So drop the woe is me ridiculous nonsense, you've become the useful idiots Obama wanted you to be. Let us know when Republicans outlaw something Obama has asked repeatedly for and then the Republicans can be as bad as democrats during the 80's.
And as for Iran-Contra, the bipartisan Boland Amendment dealt only with the Nicaraguan side of that affair. Well before the Boland Amendment the Reagan administration was circumventing an arms sale ban to Iran. That was already quite illegal, as Iran was designated a state-sponsor of terrorism. Most involved were not charged with violating any aspect of the Boland amendment, but with perjury, obstruction, withholding evidence, destruction of evidence, accepting bribes, conspiracy, defrauding the government, stealing government funds, and making false statements to Congress.

How does someone with no money, no connections, and a lackluster undergraduate record get accepted to Harvard? How does he pay for it? There must be some Obama genius somewhere. Now, if only he would use it to do something, anything, besides play golf.

Exhibit A for the wild and unsupported claims about Obama. He went to Columbia for undergrad, a school which is not too shabby. He graduated from HLS magna *** laude, so I don't think his academic credentials should be questioned lightly. His father also went to Harvard, on scholarship, for graduate school. It is not accurate to say any of: "no money, no connections, and a lackluster undergraduate record." His mother was a PhD who worked for the Ford foundation and USAID.

Your comment reminds me of a wonderful scene from the movie Network, the scene where the head of the UBS Network puts the fear of GOD into his News Anchor Howard Beale. In a booming voice of GOD almighty he tells Howard to cease his commentary and to stop "Messing around with the Primal Forces of Nature". Behind closed doors Obama gets this message from time to time from GOD almighty.

Just continue to push your white supremacy agenda.
Have you, and Bush's critics been fair in your assesments of his administration and presidency? (rhetorical question)

Your own racism is glaring. I think America has come a long way since the antebellum days of slavery, and the KKK. (By-the-way, you probably didn't know that the Atlantic Slave Trade was run by Muslims, not whites, and Muslims today still take people as slaves. Gee, Obama has some ties to Islam — but, that's just a thought.)

Obama has done nothing for blacks in this country, but he has done everything for illegal immigrants, whom the Democrats see as future Democrat voters.

Did you ever stop to think that the animus toward blacks today is primarily toward the street thugs, drug dealers, petty thieves, and those who think it's funny to play the "knock-out game?" I don't think anyone has any animosity toward a hard working black man, who takes care of his family, is responsible, is even moderately successful (if not very successful), and is (like everyone else) trying to make a better life for himself and his family. One like that can be my neighbor anytime.

Finally, just a writers tip: If you want to be afforded a modicum of credibility, do not preface (or follow) a statement with, "FACT!" To most readers, it's a sure sign that what is being stated has no basis in fact, but is simply the opinion of the writer, and quite possibly, patently false.

Once again typical white man talk NEVER admits ANY wrong doing with anything. FACT!! You probably don't even think racism exist huh? lol... Oh and I knew you would say there is not one good thing Obama has done. Once again typical white man talk while negating the FACT that everytime the man TRIES to get something done it gets SHOT DOWN by the GOP. True or False? Lastly you said name one good thing he has done well I give you one and that is why it took this long for any President to push for EQUAL pay rights for women? Well he did and it is now LAW. I guess the 42 Presidents prior to Obama didn't think to much of women getting equal pay huh. You've got to be kidding me and by the way stop letting FOX NEWS pollute your mind.

I think the bar is set higher for Obama than any other President in the last 50 years. A short list of key accomplishments:

1) Took office while US economy was in the process of collapsing--smooth transition prevented catastrophe and entire administration has been marked by economic recovery, partly initiated by his stimulus bill.
This is a joke, right? what recovery? We have over 50% of the labor force still unemployed, and unable to find work. We have more people on government assistance than at any time in our history. Obama has increased our debt to an unimaginable level, and his so-called "stimulus" bills were mostly doled out to his friends in "green" industries (most of which have since gone bankrupt). "Cash for clunkers" was an absolute disaster, destroying thousands of usable vehicles and driving up the cost of used cars — to say nothing of the shortage of good used cars it caused. And that's only a small part of the story of his "recovery."

Big deal. He would have been found eventually anyway.

At the same time, Obama, through his support of terrorists (the "Muslim Brotherhood"), is responsible for the deaths of millions of innocent people and the complete destabilization of the Middle East. Gee, what a wonderful accomplishment.

Actually, the number of uninsured has not been reduced at all, and may actually have increased, as insurance is less affordable for many who were previously insured.

No one who needed it was denied treatment prior to the passage of Obamacare. That is the law.

Health care has not been "reformed" at all, and it didn't need to be reformed. We have (had) the best health care system in the world. What is happening now is peoples choices are being limited, doctors are leaving the profession, and many who are not leaving are refusing to accept Obamacare patients. Medical technology will suffer (because of the "medical device tax").

"Full time" work has been reduced to 30 hours, meaning incomes have fallen (fewer hours worked = less pay).

We are only beginning to see the decline that will be the result of this unconstitutional piece of legislation.

Making it more difficult for banks to loan money, or for people to get loans. Many other consequences, none good. I went to make a small purchase (under $5.00) using my debit card from a local retailer recently, who wanted to charge me an extra $1 to cover the fee's they must pay! That, as a result of the new financial regulations you think are so wonderful. I told the merchant to forget it, and walked out.

You must have the complete list of Democrat "talking points." Obama has had little to do with deficit reduction, and what about our debt?

As for inflation, have you been to the grocery store lately? Beef prices? (can't even touch a rib eye steak anymore, and even ground chuck is over $3.00/lb) Even pork (not too long ago, we were buying whole pork loin for $1.29/lb. It's now $2.99/lb ON SALE, or $3.99/lb not on sale). Butter is up to $4.00/lb. (or more) — that's up from $2.50/lb.

Electricity is on the rise (because of Obama's "War on coal". Our propane bill doubled last winter, because there weren't the reserves needed to cover the increase in demand for the cold. And why not (one must ask)? Could it be because of the poor energy policies of this administration?

Except that it disallowed a "safe haven" for terrorists, and our control of Iraqi air space helped to keep Iran in check. Obama squandered it all, and now the terrorists have once again free reign in Iraq, and Iran controls the air space. Not good for U.S. interests. Great foreign policy, Obama!

Oh, please! Our "allies" (the ones who are left) don't trust Obama. They see him as the incompetent boob (they think he's a joke) that he is.

The "War on coal" is driving up the cost of electricity, which drives our nations industries. Cheap electricity is the engine of Liberty. This is to say nothing of what it is doing to the average homeowner, already struggling to keep ahead. Remember, Obama himself declared, "Under my plan ... electricity prices will skyrocket." Why is this good? And all because of some perceived notion of "climate change," which has been proven to be a hoax.

I have been fair to Bush, once again you don't comprehend very well because in one of my earlier post I specifically stated that every President has done some good and some not so good including Bush. Also if you are white you should NEVER accuse any other race of people of being racist because guess who invented racism? Does this mean that ALL whites are racist? Of course not and I can speak from both sides of the spectrum because of personal experience not to mentioned things that have been told to me by others. One thing I do agree with you is that Obama has not done much for blacks in this country and I wonder why. You think he's getting backlash for helping others, if he was to pay close attention to the black agenda ALL of ya'll would be calling him a racist. He's not stupid. He can't just focus on blacks because of that fact so he has to try to incorporate them with everybody else and do slick things for them so some white folks won't label him like they do with everything else. Also I agree America has come a long way when it comes to race issues but EVERYONE knows it still has a long long way to go. FACT!! I have a serious question for you put your pride aside and be honest. Do you really think that black men are treated equally as a white men in America? Please tell me you don't really believe this, son.

Jimmy Carter was considered the smartest president by IQ, if I recall, and look where his intelligence got this country. Smarts is a small part of leadership and success.
