There is another irony to this. One would think those who are right-wingers would be on the side of the protesters. Instead, more complaints about Black people.
And for those who are extremely loyal to their political party, you have those who stick with their candidate because they don't trust the other political party. That is a big part of what I see. While there are many who don't really approve of some things the President is doing, there is also a lack of trust for the Republican Party. It's a matter of "lesser of two evils".
Actually, this is how I see it. He isn't the first to pull for amnesty. Reagan did that in the 1980s. And it isn't just Chicago. What about New Orleans? What about Newark? What about Detroit, Oakland, St. Louis, Cleveland, Philadelphia, Cincinnati, Memphis, Milwaukee, Pittsburgh,etc. The sad thing is, no President has really cared about the poor Black population living in ghettos. No one. I think what has disappointed many is that President Obama wasn't different from any other politician. Fact is, no one really cares about the poor Black population, neither Democrat or Republican.
That's about the gist of it.
What needs mentioning also is Illegals aren't going to live among the Elite, they're going into these impoverished neglected communities to compete with the same resources.
And that is wrong. It will only exacerbate problems already there.
The "Humanitarian" BS the Obama administration is spewing is just a smokescreen. It is not that deadly to live there in most places, these people survived there until now and traveled the length of a few of it's countries to get here.
They could have easily went to a Latin American, Spanish speaking, predominantly Catholic country with a similar culture just as easily , there is over 20 of them !!!!

No my point us that those residents could easily appeal to conservatives in the federal government, but they don't because they know conservatives don't give a damn.
They are appealing to the legislators that they feel might listen. Who might could be forced to take action.
They know congressional conservatives aren't going to lift a finger to help. They know no conservative who hopes to be president would lift a finger to help.
The only thing this story means for conservatives is a way to attack President Obama by saying see even some black people in a Chicago are upset with the president.

You have to know what transparency is to argue that the president has somehow not kept that promise.

You should have elected Hillary in 2008 and given Obama 8 years to gain experience.
Instead, largely because he was hipper, younger and more charismatic....and lets not mince words...able to carry a huge chunk of the black vote pretty much due to his pigmentation...we got Obama instead of Hillary.
P.S. You can always protest vote 3rd party or just not vote if you are unhappy with the choices presented to you. For example, if you care strongly about environmental issues and were angry over Obama's appointment of the Monsanto CEO to head the FDA.....and still support him because the republicans would be worse....then you are rewarding bad behavior and getting milked for free. If you don't hold your candidates accountable you are part of the problem.
