Once they cleared him without even speaking to him, I could see the whitewash coming a mile down the road. He'll be investigated, the investigation will be inconclusive, quietly he'll separate from the military, receive a general discharge and that will be it. For anyone who has served in the military you understand how much the rules can bend and yield to political expediency. Bergdahl will quietly vanish away into civilian life and if he's smart, he'll keep his nose clean.

NOPE -- we saw the whitewash in the White House Rose Garden when Obama made his happy announcement that a "hero" was coming home in exchange for 5 Taliban Leaders.

The Military won't forget this OR Dempsey's part in it.

Bergdahl will probably end up being the new Jane Fonda and the complaints will continue until the last vet dies. What a bunch of bitter old people we have in this country.

Well, conservatives are definately motivated to demonize the man now that he has in their opinion the stench of President Obama returning him.

It is almost certain that had a conservative president secured his return Bergdahl wouldn't have been attacked as he was.

I don't know I can see conservatives already fixing to go insane at Hiliary. So maybe they would have had a similar insane response if President Hiliary Clinton freed Bergdahl.

Bergdahl has been assigned a desk job, has his own room in the barracks, will share a bathroom with other soldiers. He has a sponsor and two soldiers to help him adjust to army life. The investigation into why he left his post continues and his fellow soldiers call him a deserter.

Who cleared him, did we all miss the investigation by the military. He may very well get off with a dishonorable discharge as many have in the past maybe we should wait until the military makes their decision, or is this preemptive complaining.

Bergdahl is Sgt in the US Army on active duty. He has to be assigned a duty position while the investigation as to what led to his capture and associated issues are determined. RW despicable treatment of our Military notwithstanding, the DOD will handle the issue appropriately.

The DOD will handle the investigation as directed by Eric Holder and Valerie Jarrett.
