Thats 362 dollars a week take home.

It takes about 400 a month to feed my family of 4. So you're down 25% of your income for food straight out of the gate. Don't forget rent, usually around 5 to 600 a month even for small places. Electricity runs about 100 a month, water about the same.

Now we're down to abut 350 a month. Now fuel. Now clothes. Now if you need internet for your kids to do school work, almost mandatory now. Now a car payment, 200 a month. Now insurance for that car. Have to have a car and insurance to get to work in most places.

The point is, 1800 a month, before taxes, isn't that much to live on.
I'll bet those people that were forced to pay for you would love to have that money "they WORKED for" you ungrateful *#@....

Maybe you should consider a job and make just a little bit more than that. Then at least you would appreciate your free ride. What do you want? A Mercedes and a white picket fence around a big house.

Instead of insulting our veterans perhaps you could find something more productive to do with your hate.

Gee maybe you would be greatfull that i helped pay for the roads your customers use to come to your business or the justice system that is used to protect your business and property. Maybe you should pay for your own road or security force you WELFARE BUM! Im tired of paying for you ungrateful. I don't drive to work i bike and walk, i don't use police etc. But i got to pay for your bum butt.

Being sarcastic but you get the point about the thinking?

The logic is very clear. I paid for my car. I buy my own gas. Yes, I drive to work. I pay taxes both income and sales. I pay property tax. I pay.. I pay.. I pay.... Do I get food stamps? No. Do I get Section 8? No. Do I get a break on my health insurance. No. Do I get one single solitary entitlement? No. Do I want someone to give me something for nothing. No. No your not responsible for me... and I'm not responsible for you. But you seem to think I owe you something simply because you exist...... I'm not your mamma. I didn't bring you into this world, and financially I'm not responsible for you. Do I care that you have food and shelter. Yes. I want you to have that. But at the same time, sometimes its time to grow up and become responsible for yourself.

It wasn't out of context. I quoted your exact statement on the subject of food stamps in response to CalGal.

You got caught in yet another lie, and are attempting to dissemble.

You're paying for your own use of such, as should everyone else. Where we fall apart as a society is when some income earners have to pay for what they use, but others don't.

And really whats the % of people that don't contribute? Further you also fail to acknowledge is how is everyone going to get jobs tomorrow if all the bums decided lets work and contribute? Last i checked our nations unemployment rate was 6.3% thats almost 20,000,000 people who can't find work. I suspect its alot worse then that.

Currently, 43% of income earners pay no federal income tax whatsoever. That statstic includes 86.4% of all those who earn $50,000 or less.

Who doesn't have to pay federal income taxes? 43% of Americans - Aug. 29, 2013
