I think we should remove all sanctions on Iran. We are only holding on to them out of some childish spite.

Cruz cannot, as usual, see beyond his own base. (double meaning on base)

Agreed.

I will never understand why Americans get themselves so bent out of state over Iran.

ok, folks....ya'll know what I mean, what do you think....
I'm staying with my original thoughts, I don't know why we think we've got to be a party to every other country, especially since ours is in such need of fixing....Keep the sanctions, and sanction every country for that matter, lets get our own country in order, then branch out....
Pretty ridiculous idea, huh?

US policy is quite the quandary concerning Iranian relations. On the one hand, the US wants to rein in Iran's nuclear program and support of Hezbollah and Hamas and on the other hand it needs Iranian support to rein in ISIS and a resurgent Taliban. This is truly what's called walking a fine line.

Its easy to understand, it is based on our irrational policy concerning Cuba . We've been imposing sanctions on Cuba since 1960. Iran has only been on our s*** list since 1979!

Guess you're right.

I just can't make any sense of it.

Of course you do. Iran is only the biggest sponsor of international terrorism on the planet, so it should not surprise anyone that liberal freaks would openly support such a terrorist sponsoring government. After all, your Messiah has.

Saying that we gain nothing by these sanctions and in all lilelyhood hurt us more than help us is not a stance that defends Iran.

Speaking in generalizations and you directly I don't know why people think it's cute to make such accusations.

Terrorists don't care about sanctions. They mean nothing to them outside of the fact that sanctions turn the people further against us thereby making terrorism stronger.

Sanctions usually end up hurting the residents of country, not the government. We should lift the sanctions on Cuba as well.
