Eliminating tax loopholes would harm the lowest income the most. They get the most loopholes and deductions. Have you never heard of tax deduction phase-out at higher income levels or the Alternative Minimum Tax?

You tell me. Why do low-income earners continue to shop at Walmart?

There are many that would not even be shopping at Walmart if it were not for our "Free" Trade Pacts brought on by Lobbyists. That is where it started, at the Government Level. Did you know Hillary Clinton was on the Board of Directors for Walmart? They have no partisan stripes, only $ signs.

We would have a bigger impact on the Corporations and Banks if we killed all our Trade Agreements and that is done at the Government Level. Then when they high tail it to another country, slap on some tariffs so that they will either have to sale their wares to Chinese making a dollar a day or back to their customers in the USA at higher prices.

How does that remove anyone's choice and free will? It doesn't. They need to stop shopping at Walmart. Vote with their wallets. That's the only thing that will make a difference.

This thread is an example of why right wingers are actually far more clueless about how the economy works than the left wingers (with the iffy exception of libertarians, usually).

Seriously 'It's MINE' is the least rational, most selfish and overall dumbest reason for things not to change.

I would have to say that yes, things should be more equal but I don't think that just giving people money is ever a good idea.

Instead they should force all major businesses to start free higher education and training programs for absolutely everyone. Make sure they are relevant and will result in good jobs with in-demand skills-- no free pop culture degrees or basket weaving or any of those other blatant cash grabs that the university business degrades itself with for profit. No more student loan debt, no more overloaded courses, no more broken promises.

Health care should also be free for everyone... dental included. There is zero legitimate reason for this not to be the case.

A healthy, educated population with lots of safety nets is going to prosper.

What a laugh.

The premises I have asserted have actually been grounded in the facts of the actual results.

Sorry, but you are wrong!
There is your theory and then there is reality on how it is actually done to make a difference.

There are Billions of dollars in reality going to politicians to "make a difference".
That is how they are telling me it is done.
