The reality is all laws are enforcing morality. The question is who's morality are we legislating. A morale concept may share values of a particular religion, but the issue is morality not separation of Church and State according to the constitution. While it's clear the founding fathers were not Christian, it is a fact that this nation was founded upon Christian principles of morality.

Laws that endorse same sex unions and ease of divorce are destroying the nations family unit which ultimately is working to destroy this country. Increase of immorality, increases crime increasing government power.

Who defines what is moral? Hitler? Stalin?

Depending on your perspective, sharia law defines morality perfectly fine. Are you OK with that?

I have kind of a 90-10 guideline. If 10% think something should be legal then it should be. Less than 10% I need to take on a case by case basis.

I would be more interested in -- when will we stop legislating, period?

When you hear liberals proclaim a right to healthcare they are proclaiming a moral position just like the conservative who is against abortion.

Just as I am with the Torah, Talmud and Bible both Old and New Testaments on which Sharia is based.

If most people were down right ugly looking and lacked sex appeal, we wouldn't have nealry so much sexual immorality going on to worry about. Fewer abortions as well. Fewer gays wanting to get married because the partner lacks sex appeal. But too many people are damn good looking and an easy lay, that is if you're good looking yourself.

"Morality" - in this case, "Christian morality" - is:

Unconstitutional? NO

Unenforceable? NO

Ethical? NO

End of discussion.
