It is merely saying that Obama promised to correct our world standing, Turkey is an important ally in that region and ticking off their leader with duplicitous talk is not wise and not correcting our world standing.

It is not just the leader of Turkey that is upset with a disingenuous Obama.

One can want our president to be genuine and not tick off leaders of allied countries without endorsing or supporting the integrity of other leaders. If you can't see this you are either blinded by affection from Obama or you need to learn better thinking skills.
Really? What makes Turkey so damn important?

What do they do for us that we can't do without?

Harrier wonders if this was a gradually made decision or if the PM just one day stopped cold turkey.

Really? Why is Turkey important?

We went from Obamagasms of how Bush ruined our world standing and it needs to be repaired and Obama is the man - to its okay if Obama keeps our world standing damaged or worsens it?

Turkey is a key geographic center for trade, which is why their economy is set for growth. Controls the straits and link between Asia and Europe. It is the 2nd biggest Muslim economy.

Also, they are an ally and have assisted us in the past. We shouldn't lose more allies over duplicitous talk from a disingenuous president. If we part with Turkey over principles is another thing, if a rift starts because we have a lying indecisive president is another.

I don't care if it is Lichtenstein. We shouldn't be using duplicitous talk to allies and upsetting their leaders.

Turkey will trade with us regardless. And their location is meaningless when it comes to trade.

And they've assisted us in the past because there's something in it for them.

Obama is right. Sorry Turkey.

Here in the USA we don't have journalists anymore, so Obama doesn't have to worry about that. The media is complicit in the lawlessness.

Obama isn't the great world leader the media tried to make us believe he was. Considering he was nothing but a community organizer, I have to blame the voters for believing such nonsense.

As I said in another post...Dems vote for Dems and Repubs vote for Repubs. It's not very often that they cross lines but it does happen. And no we have no real journalists anymore. It is all sensationalist now.
