One would think being in trillions of debt would cause good times for everyone then wouldn't you?

Ron Paul is well known for being one of the most corrupt members of congress, he is also known for his nepotism which became obvious during his 2012 run for president. People were joining the republican party to support Ron Paul yet Ron made a deal with Mitt Romney where Ron Paul was basically part of the Romney campaign to attack Romney's biggest republican rivals to make sure Romney was the nominee. The goal of which was to advance the political career of his son little Rand Paul should Romney get elected, then Rand was to get a well known position in a Romney administration.

Don't confuss your lack of knowledge with others. Just because you don't seem to know doesn't mean others are ignorant.
Then give with your infinite wisdom, o wise one.

What did Dr. Paul *do*? Not what did he say, how did he scold, what he predicted...what did he *do*?

Ron Paul's principals and message never changed, along with that, he never supported and never endorsed Romney.

That doesn't make Ron Paul "look good". Departing the world scene by claiming we have no interest elsewhere is impractical. The US will become totally irrelevant on the world stage and will desintegrate or implode domestically.
If we follow his advice, there will be little need for a president. A desk, maybe a secretary for few hours a week are enough. The rest is written on the wall, like the class rules for 3th grade.

It is becoming rather costly to buy our friends.....

I say increase trade and pull out the military.

That was the best thing about him. Why get involved in other countries affairs?

I didn't use it as my argument. I used it as an example of two people who were/are highly thought of yet were clueless when it came to the collapse.

Yes and as I posted
"The ones I listen to said in the mid 1940's, in general, and around 1979 specifically as it applied to housing. "

Your post was silly.

The government, meanwhile, earned $100 in income (via taxes), but spent nothing. The government budget is thus is surplus, while the private sector has gone into debt–by the exact same amount, of course. It is impossible for it to work out any other way. The balances must add to zero because, as the last column indicates, total spending must equal total income in a closed system. And with the government in surplus, the private sector goes into debt."

Why You Should Love Government Deficits - Forbes
The government spending that creates the deficit, goes to the private sector.

Here's the part you miss. The government favors one sector over another. Their buddies get bailed out. The government hand picks the winners and losers.

He never said what you said he did. Trade with all nations, entangling alliances with none.
In other words, quit killing people, someone may retaliate.

I wish that would happen and the states would there power back. No more one size fits all approach in the land of diversity.

Yes, because the Dems don't like to take money from the bankers/corporations right? Seriously, what world do you live in that you think the GOP does & your party doesn't? Delusional.
