Same old right-wing tactic of ignoring their own jobs so they can pander to their right-wing supporters, i.e.; playing political games in an election year. Sad thing is they actually believe this sort of thing garners them support when in reality it hurts their cause because Moderates and Independents usually understand what such actions are all about and they also know this costs the taxpayers money for the Repubs to play games, but this will not be the first time or the last. So in reality what it comes down to is Repubs being what they are and what they are in not good for the Nation.

The amount congress gets paid is a drop in a bucket compared to the costs of the laws they pass.

They'll still have plenty of time to screw with the general public in one way or another.

Sucks to be uniformed:

They note that House Republicans passed more than 200 bills in 2013, many of which Reid has refused to hold votes on in the Senate. House-passed legislation is readily dismissed as “dead on arrival†in the upper chamber, while the storyline surrounding Senate measures, such as the immigration bill, tends to focus on House speaker John Boehner “facing pressure†to hold a vote in the House. In reality, of the 72 bills President Obama signed into law last year, only 16 originated in the Senate.
Harry Reid

Not talking about their pay, they are all rich to begin with. Talking about how much the lawsuit is gonna cost the US Citizens, especially since we all know Nothing will come out of other than some politicians are gonna get their name in the news more and some sheeple will believe that their Reps are actually accomplishing something. I have a better idea, why doesn't Congress get their arses back to work and start working on the many issues we are facing, they could start with a viable and well thought out Budget for the next 5 years so we could get out from under Sequester rules and the economy can truely begin improving. Like that is going to happen before they can claim they did it all, ROTFLMAO watching the sheeple here buy into their tactics hook line and sinker. Rome is Burning Folks, it way past time to stop sitting on your heads and start paying attention to what is really happening, awww nevermind, you will learn your lesson the only way you know how, The Hard Way, enjoy.
