Isn't nothing worth being around someone like that for. Kids? So you would want kids to see that's how men or women are to be treated. Work around it.
Upbringing has nothing to do with it. Adults are responsible for their choices, regardless of how they were raised.

I think many get the idea the female taunts the man into hitting her ... In MOST cases that couldn't be further from the truth.

It may be simply making the WRONG item for dinner.
It may be because dinner isn't HOT on the table when he gets home FIVE hours late drunk out of his head.
It may be because she is social with a strange at the store.

Ask ANY Cop and they will tell you domestic cases are the WORST, and make the least sense.

In some cases the female is trapped in the relationship, or thinks she is.

In some cases they believe their situation is "normal".
Children that grow up in a domestic violence household are at a far greater risk to continue the cycle.

Domestic violence studies from the CDC disagree with you. In 85% of DV cases the woman was either the sole aggressor, primary instigator, or equally combative. The remaining 15% are cases where the man is the primary aggressor and naturally, due to a man's strength, these cases result in the worst physical damage and get the most media attention.

Can we look at what happened before the attack? or is that irrelevant?

Please share with me.
Of course there are situations where I'd hit a woman. Are you some misogynistic, sexist, stereotyper who thinks all women are weak, meek, defenseless.

Or we could be following the social stigma that all men are abusers or potential abusers and all weman are victims and play no part or role in domestic violence.

My son is 6 feet tall and his girlfriend can't weigh more than 80 pounds. He can easily kill her without even trying. He's never hit anyone in his life, but if he hit her, he'd be answering to me, and it wouldn't be pretty.
Human are capable of understanding right from wrong, as opposed to an animals that needs constant reinforcement of its training

And yes, the double standards are about equality. Apparently women aren't as equal as they often claim to be

I find that very difficult to believe, although I will not say untrue. Since you stated specific numbers, please do provide your source.

When most men outweigh us by 50 to 70 pounds, hell no we aren't physically equal.
