America is leaderless because our ideal for leadership comes from the Roman Cincinatius the simple honest Roman farmer who always kept his sword and shield at nearby to only be picked up and used when an opponent stepped into his fields or threatened his family. When the danger had past he put away the sword and shield and worked his fields. Cincinatius had no lust for power or to be a king or dictator. The Founder of our nation and First President George Washington was a Cincinatius! Americans don't want so-called "Leaders" (e.g. an Alexander, Julius Caesar, Tamerlane, Genghis khan, Salladin, Napoleon, Lenin, Mao or Hitler).
Lana (the female character making these comments) is somewhat right similar to how correct Zeb Coulter (a male character who is a perfect xenophobic far-right mountain man, ex-vet) was when he was a bad guy like Lana is now. Coincidentially these two characters are now feuding. I will stop agreeing with Lana at the point that Vladimir Poo-tin is a "great leader."
