Hell, they wouldn't hesitate at strapping a bomb to a 10 year old child.

And you think it's wise for The US-thousands and thousands of miles away-to entangle in this mess?

Where does it end? The US must leave the Middle East and focus on fixing our country-it is either NOW or NEVER.

We are hated for our support of Israel and Saudi Arabia-we would be hated by someone no matter WHO we support-so we must remain neutral and stop sending BILLIONS for guns and bombs.

Israel and Saudi Arabia are allies we certainly do not need.

I agree. Not one more damn dime spent on or in that region, or one more drop of American blood should be spilled over there. Let's take care of our own house once and for all! If any other country, or the world has a problem, then too effin' bad! Let them try and pick up the slack for once!

Want to know how evil Hamas is? Just look at this picture, it's of Hamas hanging kids up in front of a building to deter the IDF from attacking them: This is what evil looks like: One picture going viral that depicts the level of barbarism… | Young Conservatives

I consider anyone who is against Israel to be a supporter or terrorism by default, and I want nothing to do with in any way, shape, or form. I have no mercy in Hamas, Obama and Kerry need to shut their mouths and learn to follow the true leadership of someone who actually cares about his people, like Netanyahu.
If you actually read the article in the link you posted, the picture has no context, there is no proof if that picture is anything to do with Hamas, or if it's even taken in Palestine.

And I am sorry, but Israel is totally in the wrong for shelling places or dropping bombs on places where they know innocent people (especially children) are located.

Israel encroaches on those people's land, fences them in, restricts their movement, takes their resources, and you would expect radicalists not to start gaining power there attempting to fight back against Israel? I mean when you treat a group of people like that OF COURSE they are going to start getting quite radical and start trying to fight back, even in very dirty ways (such as the suicide bombs). Those are acts of desperation with people who feel they have nothing else they can do. So now Israel thinks they are justified in leveling the entire place, wiping out a good chunk of its population in retaliation for the retaliation? I mean seriously?

If you go into your neighbor's house, tell him he is no longer allowed to use his back yard, then some time later is no longer allowed to leave his house- and you restrict the movement of him and his family, would you not expect him to fight back? And when he does, you would feel justified to then go and kill his entire family? Maybe you would, but the rest of the neighborhood would see through it to what was really going on and would still know you are in the wrong.

Hamas needs to be stopped no doubt, but Israel needs to look deeper into the root of all of this, and realize its partial blame in all of this to truly come up with a solution. For every innocent child they kill, they are just creating many more potential terrorists who want revenge for that killing. Israel is perpetuating the cycle, so without looking in the mirror, looking at cause/effect, this cycle will continue.

We can't afford to cower at the feet of terrorists and let them be our school master. We will support what is right, and if some doesn't like it that is their right, but if they attack us then we are obliged to stomp them into the ground. We were targeted in WWII because we chose to support England and Europe when Hitler's Germany and Japan were bent on doing what they thought they had a right to do. We didn't cower then and we shouldn't cower now.

The last thing the Arabs want is to be treated like they treat others.

Throughout history there has never been a lasting peace unless one side was thoroughly and utterly defeated and forced to surrender under the threat of extinction... and collateral damage had to be ignored in order to attain that peace.

One of the reasons we were able to win WWII in Europe was due to the fire bombing of Dresden, not a military target. 10's of thousands of civilians were killed. The same was with Japan. The 100's of thousands killed at Hiroshima and Nagasaki by the two atom bombs brought the Japanese to their knees.

There has been a lasting peace between us and Germany and Japan ever since then.

The time has come for Hamas to suffer the same consequences.

WWII was already won when Dresden was bombed-that was a horrible thing to do-Hiroshima and Nagasaki too- and only meant to throw salt in the wounds. It was the center of culture-no military presence at all.

As a society we should be progressing-not becoming more primitive.

But if you look at this from an objective point of view, the Palestinians have been fighting for their freedom, too. They feel oppressed by Israel, as more and more of their land gets taken by Israeli settlements, their resources get taken by Israel, their people's movement is restricted- and so extreme factions have formed to fight back against who they feel is the oppressor- their enemy- Israel. So you have two sides who are both killing each other, both claiming to be fighting to protect themselves, why do most of us only look at the Israeli side in this?
