Municipal employees work for for profit corporations?

This is news to me.

The only people harmed by their luxurious union deals are taxpayers.

You referring to the police and firefighters as useless? As I said, too bad they do not know who you are, they might take you up on your opinion and be useless if you need them. Love it when people scream about police and are the same ones that are the first to call if they get in trouble.

Curiously whoever the public unions endorsed and donated boatloads of money to in NY always won.

And even more curiously that person always went on to give more money to union employees and thus the unions.

Collectively....

I was replying to maceman's post in which he accused neo-cons of seeing the "boogy man" in unions.

I'm not a neo-con so if you wish to educate others in what you think all neo-cons support, maybe you should start with him.

It is how the system works there days, not that it is right but that is how it works across the Nation, sometimes it is Unions with the Big Bucks and sometimes it is Big Business, either way the Citizens get left out.

The rich people will usually win. They have the money, the power, and the good lawyers. That doesn't make them right.

Now watch for him to come after the private unions and screw them. After they've been ****ed up too you can then give that a

Hendricks: "Any chance we'll ever get to be a completely red state and work on these unions and become a right-to-work? What can we do to help you?" Walker: "Well, we're going to start in a couple weeks with our budget adjustment bill. The first step is we're going to deal with collective bargaining for all public employee unions, because you use divide and conquer. . ."
Scott Walker - SourceWatch

It's going to be interesting to see the reaction of the "hey I have no problem with private unions" people when Walker goes after those private unions

might be a possibility where local, State or federal laws are concerned.

I think there are lessons to be learned from the Left, and one such lesson is repeatedly attacking unions with lawsuits to bleed them dry so that they don't have any money to engage in bribery, graft, corruption, electioneering or election influencing.

Maybe bleed them so badly they have to dip into their pension funds.

So you hate working people too? Sue them for what, for having the gall and audacity to want decent working conditions and decent wages?
