Mostly, I post clever quips in response to the comically hypocritical posts criticizing the president.

So, back to my question - why do liberals suddenly care about taking care of these two when they don't care about taking care of U.S. military veterans?
Silly question.

Perhaps you're referring to the grossly overloaded and underfunded VA system dealing with a hundred thousand wounded vets from Dubya's idiotically mismanaged middle east defeats. The VA for which the GOP house has approved additional funding only two days ago, when this problem has been festering for months.

House passes $17 billion emergency funding bill for VA - Veterans - Stripes

So, you were saying something about liberals?

Carry on.

Kinda funny from the people who want the government to stop someone from entering the US. But nevermind - what's the free-market alternate solution for containing a contagious disease?

Also they have a drug that has been tested on animals that seems to work.
They want the FDA to fast track it now.
Also with these 2 ebola victims they have humans to try it on and the US has much better facilities.

It's worth a shot IMHO but the CDC better really have their "best and brightest" working on this to contain it.

If this were really as dangerous as you and some others seem to believe it would already be a pandemic and guess what it is not and if it were there would be little they could do to contain it, that day may come with some new threat and sweep the world of much of the population, but that day is not here, yet.
Yeah, like you know what you are talking about . You are just parroting the pablum you are spoon fed by the government and its propaganda wing, the liberal, bleeding-heart media. The CDC and NIH have shown the can't be trusted to protect the public health. That is what we know - not what we are told to believe.

Ehm - it is not, in fact, "highly contagious".

Quote:
Infection occurs from direct contact (through broken skin or mucous membranes) with the blood, or other bodily fluids or secretions (stool, urine, saliva, semen) of infected people. Infection can also occur if broken skin or mucous membranes of a healthy person come into contact with environments that have become contaminated with an Ebola patient’s infectious fluids such as soiled clothing, bed linen, or used needles.

Quote:
It hasn't migrated to the United States yet, which is quite fortuitous. Yet, we are voluntarily bringing the virus here.
If we can't contain two known cases in a first-world facility built for the purpose, we're done for anyway.

We know, do you have multiple personalities living in your head?
I know that one sick man isolated from others and being treated by professionals is not threat to you or anyone out here. Unless you are planning on treating him yourself, as if you had any expertise to do so, you might want to leave it to the professionals. The rest of your rant is not worthy of reply, grow up or do not reply to me on topics.

I've heard both of them are coming back. I'm not that concerned with them, the isolation wards are much better here than in Africa. I would be lying if I said I wasn't concerned about ALL the others that have been possibly exposed and are flying home. Those are the ones that I worry about.
