I remember that I read it somewhere (don't remember the source) Palestine has a right to an existence, with sufficient infrastructure and human rights for its citizens.
Israel has the right to defend itself, and to be recognized by neighbors.
Jews or the Palestinians are both human beings, they deserve to be treated with human dignity. But let's not pretend war crime (if there are any which I am sure there are some) are committed by ONLY Israel. Saying that wouldn't be fair.
Innocent children die, this the nature of war. But it looks like nobody can stop the war but everybody is just eager to condemn.
War should be condemned, that is without question.
Who is right and who is wrong? Should Palestinian children be bombed because of the evil deeds of Hamas? How is that fair? Because it's 'war'?

They are the ones who are using children as human shields.
A lot of Israelis are celebrating also. Evidently the "collateral" damage in Gaza is much worse than Israel around 1600 killed, mostly civilians and a rather large amount of children. How many Israeli citizens were killed maybe 6, and that required this type of response. The Israeli's are obviously using artillery rather than infantry to attack Hamas in order to reduce loss of military personnel. Palestinian lives are evidently cheaper than military losses, better to level civilian areas rather than lose military.
Only 160 IDF lost vs several hundred civilians says it all, surgical strikes is complete nonsense.
Netanyahu says "a man has to do what a man has to do", well time to show some courage rather than lobbing artillery into civilian neighborhoods.
It is warfare. Netanyahu is taking care of his people. Hammas is foolish. Hammas may score some small pr victory but Netanyahu will win the war. Harry Truman probably killed more women and children with two strikes than any single leader in history but the Japanese unconditionally surrendered. In Truman's time Americans went to war to WIN.

and giving unconditional support to ANYTHING in this world will be foolish. But I honestly don't believe Israel has ever received any unconditional support if you really think about it.

Exactly. If the Israeli-Gaza story was told without names, many of those who support Israel now would have their eyes opened.
Israel is such a tiny country, but they are strong. Let's get real, Israel is surrounded by people who hate them.
