Statistics are not accurate but the key issue really here is that all innocent lives are precious, it is equally important to understand that Hamas is solely responsible for this crises and the death of its people.

Those interested in history and international relations most certainly could. And they could tell you facts you probably don't even know. But these are the liberal arts people which some think is a wasted degree
That is very simplistic thinking. It's really a vicious cycle- Hamas is fighting Israel by launching rockets because they feel they are fighting back against the oppression and the deaths to innocent civilians in Israeli bombing raids, and then of course Israel drops bombs in Gaza because it feels it needs to in response to the Gaza rockets. The problem is both sides are reacting to the other- neither side is truly the good guy, both feel they are honestly retaliating or reacting to threats from the other side.
I'm sorry but this is incorrect. The violence of this event started by defying a cease fire agreement... by a barrage of rockets into Israel territory and the 3 teenagers murder by Hamas terrorists. Hamas employs the anti colonist strategy and capitalizes billions of dollars by the blood of its own people.

Good lord. If you can't see that Government of Israel is the architect of it's own misery, you've been watching far too many right-wing news sources.
I really don't see any difference between fanatical Arab groups and the fanatical Israeli government as both are terrorists in their own right. The glaring exception being that one would have thought the Israelis would have learned something following their treatment at the hands of Nazi Germany. Instead, they treat the Palestinians in the same way all the while crying foul about the Holocaust.
Can't say that I have much respect for them.
